Laurie Wren, LCSW, Founder & Director
Licensed Clinical Social Worker,
Your story matters! I have been helping hurting people find hope and change since 1998. Having experienced pain in my own life, I know the urgent need for the hope that either “things can be different,” or, if not, at least I can feel differently. At times all of our lives seem like messy rooms, and we need someone to help us find our sense of clarity.
I see individuals, couples, families and groups regarding various life issues. My approach is forthright, moving at your pace, involving your input. I work with couples, individuals and groups. Some of the topics I see the most include anxiety, relationship conflict, difficulty communicating, depression, trauma, life transition, stress and emotional fitness.
I graduated from Florida State University with a MSW degree in Clinical Social Work. My Bachelor of Science degree is from Southwest Missouri State University. My counseling style has been influenced by leaders in the field, professors from my graduate school, as well as my own interpretation of my client’s best interests. I view counseling as a passion and a profession. When you come here, your story and your privacy will be respected.

Life circumstances can cause a jolt to even the most balanced person. Perhaps you are looking for a way for things to be different. Do you long to develop relational intimacy and deeper connections in your life or restore what has been broken? Are some things still upsetting or hard to work through ? You are not alone and there is hope.
Once you take that first courageous step, you are already making a decision to be in a better place. My goal is to work with you for a better outcome, outlook, and healing. Counseling is much different than friendly advice. Therapeutic counseling can help increase self-awareness and work to bring about change. I see individuals, couples, parents, singles and teens. My approach is to work at your pace helping you to achieve your goals. Some of the topics I see most include, relationship issues, parenting, past childhood wounds, self-esteem, shame, depression, stress and learning new coping skills.
I graduated from Rollins College in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and in 2010 from Asbury Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts degree in Counseling. I have been married to my best friend for six years and we have two amazing sons who bring outrageous joy in the most unexpected ways.

As a mental health counselor, it is my joy to receive the privilege to play even a small part in your heart’s healing. I desire to join each one of my clients, to encourage and help them find a greater sense of health and healing through an individually tailored therapeutic process. I believe that counseling is an important healing tool for people to find freedom from their hurts, addictions, fears, and wounds so that they can live with a greater sense of peace and wholeness. Understanding how intimidating and fearful it can feel to begin the counseling process, I seek to always offer you the space where your counseling journey can evolve at a pace that feels comfortable for you. May you come as you are, but leave with renewed hope and with a truer sense of who you are meant to become.
I come to Reveille Counseling with many years experience as a mental health counselor, working with children, adolescents, couples, and families. I provide individual, family, and group counseling addressing many issues including: anxiety, depression, grief/loss, anger m relationship conflict, co-dependency, self-harm, trauma, stress management, social skills, body image, self-worth, adjustment to life events, and spiritual growth and development. My approach to counseling is relational, as well as integrative, implementing a variety of therapeutic techniques specific to my client’s needs.
I earned my degrees from the University of Central Florida with a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies. Prior to joining Reveille Counseling, I worked in community mental health agencies, providing counseling support to children and adolescents in schools, and families impacted by the foster care and legal systems. Some of my most meaningful work was my time in domestic violence safe houses, providing crisis counseling as a certified domestic violence advocate to survivors of sexual assault, emotional abuse, and dating violence.
While I am not in the counseling room, you can find me planning my next international adventure, reading and collecting books to fill my bookshelves, or spending time with my family, close friends, and church community.

that we all want to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives, and yet we often get
stuck. We repeat old patterns that may
have worked in the past, but now limit our ability to reach our full potential,
both personally and in our relationships with others. With a little help, we often become more
aware of what is holding us back, and begin to remove or work around these
My approach is collaborative and strength-based. I will help you find solutions that empower you to create the life you want and deserve, in a safe and non-judgmental environment. I see individuals (adults, adolescents, and children), couples, families, and groups. Some of my specialties include recovering from infidelity, health-related issues (weight, smoking, disease), single parenting, divorce recovery, and blended families.
I am trained in EMDR therapy for mild to severe emotional disturbances.
I graduated with honors from Capella University with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2015. I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the University of Mississippi, and can also provide health or life coaching. I recently re-married and have four children and two step-children. In my free time I love being outdoors either playing with our dog, salt water fishing, or gardening.
