Your story matters! I have been helping hurting people find hope and change since 1998.Having experienced pain in my own life, I know the urgent need for the hope that either “things can be different,” or, if not, at least I can feel differently. At times all of our lives seem like messy rooms, and we need someone to help us find our sense of clarity.
I see individuals, couples, families and groups regarding various life issues. My approach is forthright, moving at your pace, involving your input. I work with couples, individuals and groups. Some of the topics I see the most include anxiety, relationship conflict, difficulty communicating, depression, trauma, life transition, stress and emotional fitness.
I graduated from Florida State University with a MSW degree in Clinical Social Work. My Bachelor of Science degree is from Southwest Missouri State University. My counseling style has been influenced by leaders in the field, professors from my graduate school, as well as my own interpretation of my client’s best interests. I view counseling as a passion and a profession. When you come here, your story and your privacy will be respected.

I offer professional counseling, coaching, and mentoring for families, couples, adults, and teens. It’s my hope that every individual I counsel feels heard, understood, and leaves with a greater sense of clarity, hope, and healing. Some common issues I treat are: anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, grief and loss, body-image issues, cutting/self-injury, codependency, and marital and premarital counseling. I have a heart for counseling women, especially teen girls and young women. It brings such joy to see young women find their self-worth, learn and begin to implement healthy ways to cope, identify what a healthy relationships and friendships look like, and build stronger relationships with their families and their peers.
While I am not in the counseling room, you can find me planning my next international adventure (I love all things travel, and if I wasn't a counselor I would probably be a travel agent), exploring new restaurants around Central Florida with my husband, or spending time with my large Italian family.
